A Life Imprisoned at Home: Walls Close In

The boundaries of my home were always like a haven. Now they smother, a constant reminder of my confined existence. Days merge into one another, marked only by the click of the clock and the heavy weight in my chest. Every whisper from outside is a cruel reminder of the world beyond.

Surviving on Lockdown

Life as we knew it has drastically altered. The world past our doors is a blur of its former bustle. We are now trapped within the walls of our homes, forced to conform to a new lifestyle. The days melt, marked by the cycle of online meetings, binging media, and baking. We crave for the simple joys that were once assumed for granted: a hike in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a chat without a screen separating us.

This new world has brought challenges, but it has also unveiled unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more creative, and more appreciative for the little things in life. As we navigate this unknown territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are coming.

Six Feet From Freedom

Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face limitations that feel like an unbreakable chain. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just a mere six feet.

Sometimes, the burden of those bars feels insurmountable. You desire freedom with every fiber of your being. The constant ticking of time serves as a constant echo that you're trapped.

But even in the darkest moments, there's a flicker of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a dream worth holding onto.

Chains of Liberty

The allure with freedom can be a tempting force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to restriction. This occurs when the very notion with freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a tool for control and oppression.

Genuine freedom entails not only the absence with external constraints but also the nurturing of internal strength. When this inner base is lacking, even amidst a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the restrictions of their own beliefs.

Ultimately, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to transcend the barriers that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
